Benteke is said to be a target for Chelsea if they cannot land Romelu Lukaku
Incoming Blues manager Antonio Conte reportedly wants to sign five players this summer, and a striker to provide competition for Diego Costa is one of his priorities.
Everton star Lukaku is his top target despite the fact Chelsea sold him for £28million just two years ago.
However, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain - both of whom could offer him Champions League football - are also interested in the 23-year-old.
And if Chelsea do fail to land Lukaku, they are thought to be considering Benteke because of his similar style of play.
He could be available for as little as £22m with Liverpool desperate to recoup most of what they paid for him a year ago.
