United are not prepared to meet Nani's £6.2million release clause and are expected to meet with Fenerbahce officials in the coming days to thrash out a deal.
The Portugal international was sold to Fenerbahce last summer after being deemed surplus to requirements by former United manager Louis van Gaal.
The 29-year-old hit the ground running in Turkey, scoring 12 goals and assisting 13 last season in his debut campaign with the Super Lig giants.

But he struggled for game time during Sir Alex Ferguson's final season in charge and fell out of favour under both David Moyes and Van Gaal.
