Eden Hazard insists he had no problems with Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho
Mourinho was sacked by Chelsea in December - two-and-a-half years into his second spell at Stamford Bridge - after the Blues plummeted down the Premier League table.
Reports at the time suggested Hazard and a number of key players were keen to see the back of Mourinho, but the Belgian insists he wanted him to stay in charge.
Mourinho has since returned to management at Manchester United, while Antonio Conte has been named as the Portuguese tactician's replacement at Chelsea.
"People can say what they want about my relationship with him," Hazard told L'Equipe. "The difficulties I had with him came at a time when I was not playing well.
