Hull City are said to be keen on signing Manchester United defender Phil Jones
The 24-year-old signed for United on a five-year deal in the summer of 2011 for around £16.5million from Blackburn Rovers.
But he has struggled to live up to his early promise at Old Trafford, failing to nail down a regular place in the side in the past few seasons.
Jones, who signed a new four-year extension with the Red Devils earlier this year, endured an injury-hit campaign last term and was left out of Roy Hodgson's England squad for Euro 2016 after making just 13 appearances for United.
However, the Daily Mail claim Mourinho could have a fight on his hands to keep hold of him with newly-promoted Hull targeting Jones as they look to prepare for life in the top flight.
It is said the versatile defender could be allowed out on loan, but much will depend on what budget and support Hull's owners can guarantee.
