Martin Skrtel is edging closer to completing a move to Fenerbahce.
The Slovakian’s time in Merseyside looks to be coming to an end having fallen out of favour under Jurgen Klopp last season.
And with the arrival of defender Joel Matip from Schalke, Skrtel’s agent Karol Csonto has been trying to find the 31-year-old a new club.
Csonto is confident a move to Turkey will go ahead after weeks of negotiations.
“Talks have been ongoing between Liverpool and Fenerbahce for the last two to three weeks and there are just a few details to sort out,” he told website Turkish Football.
He told BBC Sport: “Mane has to be worried about nothing.
“Today you don’t have a bad mentality at Liverpool like Steven Gerrard or Jamie Carragher.
“You don’t have a bad mentality any more, people to like only themselves.
“Right now they have a good coach with a good mentality.”
