That means Blind has had to play as a centre-back in their last two Premier League games against Burnley and Manchester City.
Liverpool legend Thompson has been impressed by United's defence of late but reckons relegation-threatened Swansea could have a field day against Blind at Old Trafford.

"Certain players have been absolutely outstanding, (Antonio) Valencia, (Eric) Bailly has been very good, even Blind has come in and done very well," he said on Sky Sports.
"(But) that left position from Tom Carroll who's left-footed, would be against Daley Blind and against (Matteo) Darmian.
"Daley Blind as I said has done very, very well.
