Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s departure brings an end to a 21-month spell in England, which began in July 2016.
Ibrahimovic scored 29 goals in 53 appearances after joining Manchester United from Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer.
And he played a pivotal role as Jose Mourinho's side won the Europa League, EFL Cup and Community Shield last season.
Ibrahimovic's career was left hanging by a thread last April when he suffered a serious knee injury.

He underwent rehabilitation at United's Carrington training base before signing a new contract with them last August.
The effects of that injury limited Ibrahimovic to just seven appearances in all competitions this term though.
And Jose Mourinho suggested he could leave Old Trafford in January, with MLS clubs said to be keen on him.
Ibrahimovic is now expected to head across the Atlantic, with LA Galaxy the frontrunners to get him on-board.

Ibrahimovic’s move brings the curtain down on his 19-year senior career in Europe, which has taken in spells with eight clubs.
The 36-year-old joined Ajax from Malmo as a teenager before heading to Serie A with Juventus in 2004.
Moves to Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan followed, with PSG his final club ahead of his switch to United.
Ibrahimovic made 116 appearances for Sweden, but has hinted he could return to action for this summer’s World Cup in Russia.
