WWE personality and backstage interviewer Megan Morant announced on Instagram Tuesday that she will donate a kidney to her former boss's wife, Margrette Mondillo.

In a detailed message, the 29-year-old revealed her decision to donate her kidney to Mondillo, who is currently experiencing kidney failure. Despite not having the same blood type, Morant informed her Instagram followers that there was a viable option for Margrette to receive the kidney.

Morant discovered a glimmer of hope through the National Kidney Registry's joint donor program. She would advance donate her kidney, allowing Margrette to receive the life-saving transplant she desperately needed.

"Through the National Kidney Registry's joint donor program, I will advance tomorrow, and in return, Margrette Mondillo will get a kidney to save her life," Morant wrote.

On Wednesday, Megan updated on Instagram that Margrette's kidney surgery was successful. She added that the organ was en route to its destination.

The post included pictures in a hospital bed with Mondillo as she wrote: "My surgery went perfectly, and more importantly, my kidney made its flight. She continued: "Today, @margrette.mondillo and I are filled with so much gratitude and hope as she is officially activated in the system and will receive a kidney very soon."

Before joining WWE in 2021, Morant held various broadcasting positions with the New England Patriots, including hosting their sports talk show on Patriots.com. She previously attempted to donate a kidney, but was unsuccessful due to a difference in blood type.

About a week later, during a group chat with her former colleagues at the Patriots, Morant learned that her previous boss's wife, Margrette, was suffering from kidney failure. Everything seemed to align as if it was meant to be. After undergoing five months of rigorous testing and several more months of waiting, the much-anticipated day finally arrived.
